Tea Party!

Tea Parties were historically a pathway to upholding social customs while also providing a space for progressive discourse - we continue that tradition here!

All ages, races, genders, political affiliations are welcome to engage in peaceful & productive discussion.

The Tea Party balances the seriousness of issues we face with the playfulness of a "tea party". Grounding ourselves in play and fun is critical to continue doing the work, so please feel free to wear hats, costumes, bring signs, noisemakers... whatever makes you feel empowered!!

While there is a $10 pp pre-paid fee to receive tea, a cucumber sandwich and cookie, the event itself is free to anyone who wants to be in community. If you want to participate without reservations, please bring your own lawn chair.

This event is OUTDOORS, please dress accordingly.

Tap water will be available at no charge.

This is an alcohol and smoke free space. Please no pets.

Previous Years!

The Women's March & Tea Party began in 2020, despite the pandemic, as a
19th Amendment Centennial Celebration!

The event continued focusing on memorializing the historical struggle for women's suffrage for a few more years. However, it quickly became clear that so much work still needs to be done, both to prevent the unraveling of rights and freedoms gained for women, but also to continue fighting for more justice and equality for
ALL HUMAN BEINGS!
